From the land of my birth in Albania, I traveled to southern Italy, which is considered the birthplace of Italian cuisine. While there, I had the privilege of working at Masseria Marzalosa, the famed 16th century palace surrounded by olive, orange and lemon groves.

In 2001, I came to the United States and have been a professional chef in Philadelphia, PA, New Jersey and Toronto, Canada. My career spans over two decades and in that time I have published three books on food, wine and poetry and continued to perfect my craft for my friends, family and clients.

Throughout the years, I have learned that the most simple and heartwarming dishes are the ones that fill our hearts best and help us avoid fast food.

Today, I have decided to bring my recipes into the hearts and homes of my clients in the greater Philadelphia area. My goal is to make healthy, beautiful, and delicious food accessible to my clients on a regular basis or for special occasions.

In this newly translated collection of verse, Albanian poet, chef, and omnivore Landi Prendi writes of the foods that remind him of his homeland and youth.
